In normal text size, the player supports 2 lines of text.
In large mode, only the bottom line of text is displayed.

So, when in large mode, you'll need to put a \n sequence in the OSD
message so that your text appears in the second line of the display,
e.g.

text=This is some text

will not appear in large text mode. However,

text=\nThis is my text

will work just fine.
