The sort of good news is that I tried it on one of my Fuji touchpad
and get the same.

Have you try running the xPL_DevCOM install package from tony's site
(VB6 second one down). This should make sure the ocx is registered
properly and some other VB bits. I'll try it here also and let you
know how I get on.
