Thanks everyone for the tips above. I have been to homeseer.com and
installed the keware ocx and I have also installed Tony's xplcm12
program and run the the xplinstall archive above. So far so good.
Now I am trying to use Ian's x10send to switch a light on and off. I
am very unsure how to use it! I think the correct syntax to switch a1
on is:
x10send /command=on /device=a1
or do I need quotes around "a1" because I did see quotes in the
txt
file?
Does x10send have to be in the same directory as Tonys xpcm12 or can
it be anywhere? DO I have to run it from a dos prompt or do I use a
shortcut from the win98se desktop? I can't set command line parameters
with a shortcut.
Sorry to be so dim!
Thanks.
