The key was realising that the xml file could contain phrases rather than
just words: the engine *really* doesn't like a scottish accent, and the
chance of getting three words in a row right was pretty much zero... make a
phrase like "office sound on" and it's much easier to get a good
confidence
match..

the next big question is, of course....

How do you implement this house wide? does anyone know of good mics for
listening to a whole room? how about a half decent noise cancellation box?
I
seem to recall there's a specific type of balancing amp for these things?

Is this ready for the main ukha_d group, perhaps the wider audience will
know more about the electronics side of things...
