I think it is also important to point out, that in the light of Patrick's
request, that anyone on the xPL list who believed that there was a
possibility of the protocols merging at some point in the future should be
aware that this is definitely not a possibility now.

This list exists purely to promote the xPL protocol, and should be treated
as such, please.
