been reading up on them recently and the idea of updating the firmware in
the field is attractive...I believe some bootloaders use the serial port ??
which means a bit bang uart for on board serial ...does yours use the
serial port ?? 256 bytes doesnt seem too bad what about ram ?? Unfortunelty
Keith never got into basic programming (had a vic 20 though ) assembler

bytes I think.Using a bootlader means you can also create products that can
be updated in the field by just a PC, a bit of VB code, the new program and
a serial lead, so no need for stuff tobe returned if a bug later surfaces
or you add some cool new features. If you know any form of BASIC whatsoever
then you will find it dead easy. There is also a support group that both
