the schema is intended for as broad a set of devices and apps as
possible.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Arial"

<DIV><FONT face="Arial"

<DIV><FONT face="Arial" size="2">Some
devices (most in fact) won't allow a message to be displayed indefinitely,
so using DELAY=0 in that way would have unpredictable results. This way, a
device that *can* show a message indefinitely will do so when it gets a
"delay=0", and send a trigger back with "command=write"
whereas, a device that cannot do so, will send back a trigger message with
"delay=60" (or whatever the *actual* delay was) and
"command=clear".</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Arial"
size="2"></FONT>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Arial" size="2">This will
allow the controller to know that a message was only actually displayed for
the time shown.</FONT></DIV>

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Just had a quick read and was wondering why
we need a CLEAR / WRITE command...my thoughts were if you sent a text
message with a delay of 00 then no clearing of the screen would take place
until it received a message with a delay value other than 00... BTW the
site looks good...</FONT></DIV>
