on UKHA_D we use the "moderate new members" option. So basically
you
approve all new members and their first few weeks of posts are sent to you
to approve. Meanwhile the rest of the list functions as normal.

Hi Folks, sorry for the delayed messages overnight..

We had a rather suspect account sign up, so I swicthed the list to
moderated, and mailed the new signup for clarification...

We didn't get any, so I have deleted the account from the group, and
re-opened the list..

Graham, how do you handle this on the homeautomator group?
