just had a go with this xPL_Phone thingy
it installed ok

but when I run it I get:

run time error -2147200967
Method '~' of object '~' failed.

any ideas?

I have DX9, sapi5, mswinsck
John B has pretty much the same setup and same modem and it works for him

Latest update on website now works with windows 98.

Actually the problem wasn't restricted to win98, it's just the only place I
saw it during testing.

Also fixed an issue where a failed call could leave the application in an
unknown call state.
