Its not my ir system its my tv video and led probes that are being reported
back
to hv...

I use the three port A mux pins that i currently use for setting up the ir
zone...
So i setup say for zone 6 then i pulse another output (zone strobe) for a
100msec and then set up the same mux for the probe Number and Pulse the
Probe
strobe output for 100msec...the pic in the hub will setup and read the
selected
zone /probe and pass the status back to hv via a port b input...Hope that
makes
sense

Ok lets assume that zones 1-8 are called z1->z8 and the probes in each
zone
are labelled A->F.

Assuming everyone is happy with a control.zoned and sensor.zoned schema to
request probe C in Zone 3 would be

XPL-CMND

}
CONTROL.ZONED
{
DEVICE=C
TYPE=PROBE
CURRENT=REQUEST
ZONE=Z3
}

and your hub replies

XPL-STAT
{
...
}
SENSOR.BASIC
{
DEVICE=C
TYPE=PROBE
CURRENT=HIGH OR LOW
ZONE=Z3
}
