Of course that should be "issues for HomeSeer users" not
"HomeVision"; slip
of the fingers :-O

Subject: [xAP_developer] xFx Framework, Hubs and Viewer updates available

Just uploaded xFx v2.1 along with v2.1 Hubs and xFx Viewer v3.1 to the
usual
place
http://www.edjo. <http://www.edjo.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/edward/xAP/>
pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/edward/xAP/

Not a huge number of changes but significant for those that have been
waiting patiently.

*	Improved handling of extended UID's. This can now handle UID
components longer that 8 characters. This restriction has caused issues for
HomeVision users with xFx Hubs and Viewer.

*	Better exception handling in hubs when dealing with incorrectly
formatted messages. Should stop hub crashes.

*	The Hub Service installer includes the option to install under a
user account rather than the Local Service account. This is primarily for
those users who run Win2k as their HA server since the Local Service
account
was introduced in XP.

*	Removal of the beta status from xFx 2 as it has been running well
for a while now.

Comments and feedback always welcome.

Edward
