xAP X10 source/target addresses

I have a very simple question:

Don't the xap-x10.event and xap-x10.request classes address
source/target devices as xAP BSC does?

The documentation found in the wiki doesn't show the header portion of
the message. Other examples from the net seem to address the device
entirely from the body. So, I presume that:

source=Vendor.Device.Instance (and not Vendor.Device.Instance:Device)
for xap-x10.event
target=Vendor.Device.Instance (and not Vendor.Device.Instance:Device)
for xap-x10.request
