Re: Anyone developing java xap apps ?

Hi Shaf,

I am constantly amazed by the number of new users and applications
that pop up where people have implemented xAP and kept quiet about it.
I guess there's a sort of worry that announcing applications brings a
load of support or 'when are you releasing it to the world' questions.
As we all know making something that works for 'me' is 10 times easier
than making something that works for lots of others and I think a lot of
people have it working for themselves. If you do get the Java libraries
updated do try and post the new versions, we have a few minimal changes
happening with xAP 1.3 that would be nice to support too.

It would be great to get some more active contributors and in
particular those people who aren't coders could help us an awful lot
with contributions to the WIKI with how to's, and their own experience
whilst they learned how to get things working.

For me xAP currently offers the methodology I need to get all my
bits working - I've so many ideas and projects that I can get my teeth
into and that in itself pushes me towards getting on with my own setup -
but I do try and keep the ball rolling here as much as possible here too.
