Sorry, I should have been more clear. The occasions where I've
experienced issues/problems have not been with additions but rather
varying, mixed or changing interpretations of allowed values for
existing parameters. These have been "string" in nature. So,
while
applications could technically adhere to the schema, they wouldn't
necessarily inter-operate.
