Great news!
I'll have a go this weekend at doing the same..I also need the
Windows service.
If anyone is interested, I now have a version of xAP Pace stand alone
app. for the Voice 56000 as an interim until xaPTel supports modems
fully.
BTW. I found the uninstall of Beta 2 to be very picky about which
order to uninstall the components - to be fair there is a warning
about that on the release download.
