Just to recap on an offlist response I sent...... Two main areas would
be really useful...

1) An ability to filter based on the schema which would support both
the Class name and the message block names (including wildcard support)

2) An ability to display a device(s) and the associated related
messages. ie messages from that device or destined to that device

I also think people might end up with favourite filter sets - for
example a BSC filter so they might wish to be able to save/reload
filters and switch between them fairly quickly. Not sure if they would
want to be able to combine filters in a logical way eg OR AND (latter
could be done with new filter I assume with dual conditions anyway)

I dont believe there is a need for any filtering or analysis applied to
xAP message elements... eg where xapparameter in block "A" =
"whatever" - I haven't found any need for this currently in a
'Viewer'
context. But I guess if someone was looking for when a particular light
turned ON or something ......

More filtering will be really useful - as we have moved to interactive
schemas like BSC and the Outlook/Switchboard ones it does become quite
invloved sometimes to piece together what's triggering what.... and it
is possible to accidently create loops in things like BSC ( A controls
B which inverts A)
