Every developer should have one of these in their toolbox.

Great stuff!

In order to do some testing, I've just knocked up a simple xAPp that
pumps out random messages at regular (configurable) intervals.
Wondered if this would be useful to anybody else?

It reads a set of .xAP messages from some directory. These are text
files containing xAP messages as you might transmit via a Send type
application.

Every now and then it will pick one of these messages at random and
send it. You can configure the number of messages per minute that you
want sent and it can get quite ferocious! I'm watching Viewer eat up
over 1600 messages/minute at the moment (and increasing).

If this is likely to be of any use to others, I'll tidy it up and pop
it on my web site. It has applications in stress and throughput
testing I think. I don't know of any similar type apps out there
already.
