Glenn,
I have had other such "notes" off list this evening admitting to
longer
timescales and more kit, never returned (you know who you are....
Consider yourself in the "nothing to forgive" camp :-)
We all over-commit ourselves, or commit ourselves in good faith only to
watch our situations change. With two young kids, I've seen my life
radically different.
Going forward, I don't think it's unreasonable that we attempt to
co-ordinate such requests. This group is probably the right place to
start....
