Okay, here we go, first part of a tutorial of sorts for this is up:

<<a href="http://www.xapframework.net/modules.php?name=Sections&op=viewarticle&artid=11";>http://www.xapframework.net/modules.php?name=Sections&amp;op=viewarticle&amp;artid=11</a>>

It's all in C# I'm afraid, and I don't (yet) have the finished code in
a handy downloadable module. As I write the documentation I'm building
up the example so that it all develops in the correct order. When the
articles are finished I'll have the example plugin all done and I'll
provide that. If you wanted it 'as is' at any stage, just let me know.

I don't really want to go uploading different versions of it at the
various stages of development, although I am quite tempted to, as it
means more maintenance in future.

This article concentrates on lightly tweaking the output grid and how
to get data onto it, the latter of which you've already sussed. I'll
get onto the Properties stuff shortly.

The whole system's really noddy and simplistic. It could be
fantastically more flexible and sophisticated but I've just not needed
it to be at this stage.

One or two suggestions have already crept into this (I'm sure there'll
be a knowing smile when these items are recognised... ;) so do suggest
anything that comes to mind or doesn't really work well for you. It
does the job I need of it right now, and it's generally a need for a
feature that drives development of this framework.

More to come on this.

S

PS - Michael, I haven't setup a test network to further that
duplication problem we've been looking at. Part-time progress on a
part-time pastime I'm afraid...
