Sadly not. Or at least I still get the same error message. I haven't
let it do its thing and reboot though. Do you want me to try it out in
full?

Interestingly, this *didn't* occur with the older xAPNews from July
that I found on my HD ! I was sure it happened on another app
yesterday, but I may be mistaken now.

The latest xAPWatcher (just redownloaded to make sure) definitely
comes up with this error message.

I now note that in Watcher @msvbvm60.dll is dated 8/23/01 in that
setup.lst file, whereas in News from a few months ago it's 8/21/00

The one on my HD in C: is 8/21/00 03:00 ie dated the same as News,
with the same version number too. So this is the file that appears to
be the problem I guess?
