Hi All,
The University here, have just been awarded a grant to install an
"Access Grid
Node"
basically without going into too much detail, a glorified video
conferencing
system
So why the post to an xAP group I here you ask.
The VC suite, is a room, with 3 video projectors, 4 camera's with pan, tilt
heads
audio capture, echo cancelation, and room environmental control. Products
are
supplied
by many different vendors, and this as we all know creates problems.
I'd like to see if it's possible to automate funtions like projector and
camera
control
hence the requirement for xAP.
Is anyone interested on working on this, hopefully with embedded control of
the
projectors
and cameras.
Of course a windows/linux control interface will also be required.
