Do you mean a bridge that takes messages from an RS232 line, and
sticks them onto ethernet (or vice versa)?

If so, Patrick has one - at least, he did at UKHA2003.

In fact, he wrote part of it there, since it only went FROM serial TO
ethernet, which caused us to wonder why his laptop couldn't control
Ian's relay board... on inspection of the source code, there was a
comment along the lines of "FROM ethernet TO serial not implemented -
need to write it"... so he did :-)
