Well it turns out that my framework *didn't* support multiple dotted
components. In fact, it required that a block be formed as
"Block.Name".

This is now all changed and the parsing code is shared with Class
values which have the same mechanics; Class, Class.Type,
Class.Type.SubType, etc.
