I was wondering about this just the other night. I was wrapping up a
beta-test build of the latest SliMP3 connector for James and Kevin and
was looking at the config file where I specify the UID parameters. A
DHCP type solution would be great. Didn't that get a mention in
before?

Certainly I'm choosing arbitrary parameters and would like to improve
this with some kind of management console so an installer can see
what's running and configure a new app/device.
