Hi Neil,

Last time I looked at Open Remote there was neither xAP nor xPL support,
the xPL mention was more of a placeholder / intent than anything
practical but it could all have changed since then.  My own contact with
them wasn't very productive but it would be nice to have some xAP
support included there.

Patrick did a bit with Java a while back and has some basic library
stuff on his website and Lehane implemented his recent xAP project in
Java.  Pretty sure there's a hub etc but not sure what is available in
terms of libraries  though, hopefully he'll chime in.

I find learning any new language to a level you can successfully tackle
a small project is very achievable now with all the great web resources
and hopefully a bit of a xAP Java library to start from.  I do hope you
have a bash at adding xAP (BSC) into Open Remote . I think quite a few
people would find this interesting.
