If you run Viewer it will tell you exactly how many you have in the top
lef=
t corner (I have around 650 endpoints over 35 devices )

The gateway with a heavily used HomeVision (and I know yours is) can
create=
a lot of BSC endpoints. However it only creates them for used variables/f=
lags/X10/C-Bus lighting etc .

A Netiom defaults to reporting all it's I/O although again you can
manually=
exclude specific I/O. It's probably worth doing this for clarity if not=
hing else. Even with thousands of endpoints the actual Ethernet
bandwidth=
utilisation is negligible but the names do fill lists etc which is confusi=
ng.

each individual source adress + sub address, so yes every BSC item. At the
=
moment it's still a long list so I'm ging to break it down further so you
p=
ick source address, then see a list of sub addresses. that would help with
=
speed but also deal with really long address that dont fit on the screen.

What's classed as an end point - each individual item in a device i.e. an
i=
ndividual BSC reported light in CBus in Kevin's gateway?

Cheers,
Paul.
