Hi Dave,
If I've got the right end of the stick, you want to send IR commands from
your new pronto to Homeseer et al? Is that right?
If so, you might want to try and track down an IrMan interface. It's a
little pic-based widget that outputs a pseudo-unique number for each IR
code
it receives on a serial port. It looks like IrMan might have been
superseded
by PCIR, but they seem to function in much the same way. You can find a
crude but effective xAP 'driver' for irman on my website, but interfacing
to
it is trivial to be honest. If shipping overseas is hideously complex for
you, I'll happily order & forward it on if that helps at all.
