xAP Stopped Working
Hey Guys,
I wonder if anyone can help. I am having problems with xAP all of a sudden
and have no idea on how to get it working again.
I have my server, which runs Homeseer & a Redrat.
The Redrat xAP program is loaded first, as this also acts as a hub. Then
once loaded, Homeseer with the xAP conduit is run. IR commands are then
send from Homeseer to the Redrat via xAP. It's all on the same PC.
Now this normally works beautifully, but for some reason it has stopped
working. If I load on xAP viewer, I am getting NO xAP messages at all...
not even a heartbeat. xAP messages sent do not get received by anything..
not Homeseer, not the RedRat, and not the viewer.
The only thing I can think of that MAY have caused this is the server IP
address. It was recently accidentally changed to DHCP and spend two days
with a different IP address. I've since set it back to static. Could this
somehow cause the problems?
It's as if xAP is unable to loop back to the local PC?!?!
Any help appreciated.
