example VB.net xAP apps and docs?

Just for fun (!), I thought I'd start learning VB.net (2008).
One of the reasons is I'd like to be able to create my own xAP enabled
Wind=
ows apps.
I'm at VERY early stages so far with learning VB.net but have already
start=
ed thinking about how xAP is integrated into an app. I've looked at
Edward'=
s xFx framework etc but not sure where to go from simply installing it!
I know there are no docs for it (I believe?) - but was wondering if there
a=
re any sample apps (VB.net project files) - or if anyone has any they
would=
n't mind sharing so I can start to work out how it all fits together.
I suppose one first question (for Edward?) is - will the xFx framework 2.1
=
work happily within a VB.net 3.5 project?
Any other idea/help/pointers would be good too!
