CAP - Zigbee through UDP/IP

  • Subject: CAP - Zigbee through UDP/IP

Arch Rock, a manufacturer of IP-based control products has recently
introduced a draft of CAP (Compact Application Protocol) that aims to
adapt the Zigbee Application Protocol to UDP/IP. The goal of this
protocol is to enable interoperability between IP products at the
application layer for control/sensor purposes.

It's a pity companies decide to create new IP communication standards
when xAP works so great for this kind of applications...

Daniel.
