A bit of a late update. I picked up a Qnap TS 209 a few days ago. As Edward
said, the web interface is a bit of a pig to use but slimserver runs fine
though the players (Slimp3's in my case). Edwards xAP plugin does not work
however :(
It's not a major problem for me as I half planned to run slimserver on a
separate pc with the NAS just being used as a storage. If the qnap ran the
xAP plugin and ran at an acceptable pace, I would have foregone the
separate
pc.
Qnap are working on porting the new Squeezecenter to the NAS, I'll try
whatever updated plugin Edward produces, on the NAS, before I build a new
pc.
