Sounds like you doing it all the right way except that the delays in the
scripts are not delays  between items but rather delays from when the
script was run. So you want to have a delay of 300 for the first off,
then 600 for the second, etc.  When the script runs you'll see on the
timers tab all the delayed items so as to see when they will occur.
