I was under the impression that xAP Speech uses SAPI (I'm running
v5.1--which isn't installed on win2k by default) to access the voices.
As best I remember, I just ran the xAP Speech installer and everything
"just worked". I know that I didn't have to mess w/ the xAP
Speech
config file at all.
