Last night I learned how to call the msagent from a vbs script file; I
chronicled my all nighter and documented how I installed and tested
msagent.

<http://www.stovenour.net/tiki-index.php?page=3DxAPFramework>

<http://www.stovenour.net/tiki-index.php?page=3DMSAgent>

I can confirm that the msagent merlin voice is successfully installed. I
did encounter problems initializing the agent control. The examples that
I found hard coded the windows directory as c:\windows. On win2k the
windows directory is c:\winnt. Until I changed that line in the script
files I received an error trying to create the agent control object. It
is too bad there isn't an open-source version of xAP Speech (humm....).
I wonder if the xAP Speech code is assuming the same file path for the
location of the agent data file?

Michael
