Well I havn't tried Yahoo  but it can talk to MSM.  To do this the
jabber server you connect to needs transports for the network you
want. If you use Pandion or similar client to set up using and
registering with the transports  then when you launch xAP jabber it
will have and be able to talk to other networks.
