if it were winsock then the web interface wouldn't work at all as that
uses winsock. Just checking, when you installed the new msi were any
other Intranet applications running? If they were then some of the files
may have been locked and not updated.
my mswinskt.ocx is 6.1.97.82 btw

There are a few other dlls needed mainly down to the http, wmi and
database
needs.:<br>
msadox.dll<br>
dao360.dll (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\DAO)<br>
winhttp.dll<br>
<br>
A few other things to check: <br>
With ping3 running do you get a store.ldb created in the program's
directory.
If you don't it suggests a database component is missing.<br>
Your error log shows StartWeb,Address in use,10048&nbsp; which would
either
imply two copies are running or another application is on 55000. As
your seeing
the web interface i guess the first.<br>
If you go to <a href="http://serverip:55000/intranetinfo.xsp";>http://serverip:55000/intranetinfo.xsp</a>
what does it say on the first 4 lines?&nbsp; and below that are any
other
intranet apps listed.<br>
Was the install done with the msi, upgrade zip or a file copy?<br>
try replaceing hte intranet ocx with the latest <a
href="http://www.mi4.biz/modules.php?name=Downloads&amp;d_op=getit&amp;lid=134";>http://www.mi4.biz/modules.php?name=Downloads&amp;d_op=getit&amp;lid=134</a>
and see if that helps.<br>
Also does the server have more than one network interface?<br>
<br>
I do run the app on server 2k3 here so i know it does work.<br>
