OK thanks - BUT I stopped all instances, stopped the service and then
re-st=
ated but still get the error. I also changed the config option to use the
h=
ub port - but this made no difference either.

I'm sure I saw this before but don't know if I ever fixed it.

I think the error log messages are normal and not related to your problem

It is essential that the hub starts first
If ping is not receiving messages it must have started before the hub
If you are running ping as a service then you must make ping dependant on
t=
he hub service, see earlier posts about a service dependency manager

I set up Ping again yesterday and it works but says it's not receiving xAP

messages. Running a viewer, shows it's not in the list anywhere either.
I installed it originally as a service - and have stopped and re-started

. I also just looked at the error log and saw:

I have a hub, intranet launcher and Outlook plugin working on this PC.
What does that mean?
