xAPDMX512 Alpha Release
For those who would like to try this, the download is available from
this page:
http://www.honeycottage.mm-wave.com/dmx512.htm
It is not an installer package, just a zipped directory.
Notes/caveats:
You must install Microsoft's .NET 2.0 Framework.
You need a Milford serial DMX transmitter. And a serial port or
MSS100 - not tested with USB to serial but should work fine.
This release includes a compiled version of Stuart's xFx under C#
2005/.NET 2.0. This is _not_ an official release of those binaries.
The plugin may require changes for the future official releases of
the framework for .NET 2.0. There is no service version release(but
it does work should you wish to recompile the service code yourself).
This is alpha code. You are testing it! Please report bugs and I'll
see what I can do to turn them around.
The next release will include the config code.
