I have 6.2 and the xAP Framework connector with a Squeezebox 2 and
Softsqueeze - works fine. Also experimented with MediaMVP and
streaming to iTunes, yet to try the Rio. And, to be fair, I probably
haven't tried all of them together at one time.

These may all change when an xAP interface to Medianet becomes
available.

Absolutely, just use the Softsqueeze client on a PC.
