Re: HomeSeer Events

Hi James,

I have discovered that HS Events will not 'fire' for xAP Device Value
changes only Device Status changes. Is this expected behaviour?

The problem with triggering on Device Status Change is that HS does
not allow me to perform a comparative test of the device value i.e.
Temperature Reading. For example, I cannot build a conditional event
that allows me to check the current reading and the time of day and
then decide to turn the Heating On or Off. I am assuming that I will
have to trigger a script to do this for me?

Rgds, Darren.
