The BSC devices auto create so if you delete them they will return when
next that device is heard. I had never really considered that the data
would be html but rather small things like on/off/20% . I'll add a limit
to what is displayed to keep the list clean and investigate some kind
off ignore forever option.

Floorplan montiors the time between the periodic messages (xapbsc.info)
sent by devices. It then check the time from now to the last message
adds a bit of tollerence and then and only then if the data really looks
like it's old it puts the red blob there. What can happen in testing is
that with frequent restarts of the remote devices the time between these
sends becomes artificially short so the blob appears. If you wait for 2
cycles of messages to go through (usually 20mins) it will settle down
and correct itself. It is actually a very useful feature as can really
trust what is displayed by knowing the data is live. but i'll add a off
button for the feature.

They are simply bits of html to be added over a floorplan. On one of my
floorplans I have this:
<img src='http://192.168.0.35/axis-cgi/jpg/image.cgi?resolution=320x240'
width=100 height=60>
and i have a webcam image placed next to the door on the floorplan.
works really well!

Absolutly, this will happen it is jsut finding a good cross browser way
of doing it. If any one can suggest a simple way of doing it and keeping
all the code in the same html file and not seperate .js files i'm all
ears especially if it comes with code samples. Previous trys have either
ended up in a solution for firefox/zilla/opera/safari but not IE or the
other way round. I would prefer not to use frames though.
