The xAP SlimServer conduit interacts with the SlimServer software
application and hence the actual player is probably not too important. I
therefore think this may work, although I don't have a SB3 either.

The only thing I'm unsure of is the compatibility of the SlimServer
conduit with the current official SlimServer release (v6.2) which you
will probably have to use for SB3 support. I know there were quite a
few changes and I'm not sure quite what the end result was in terms of
the conduit and any updates. Depending on which features you are
wanting the results might be acceptable. The main issues come from the
new abilty to display different fonts and more lines and hence the 2
line 40 character mapping is invalid. This may just result in text
scrolling and inability to access lines 3 and 4 ... There are also some
issues with the track data reporting (someway down a long 'todo' list
that we all seem to have) and the music DB is now interrogated in a
different way via the CLI. . Stuart might be able to comment further.
Softsqueeze can be used to emulate a graphically capable attached
player, certainly the graphic SB's and maybe even a SB3.
