The "Front Page" only shows 5 news articles.

The 18 would show when you click on the feed's name, and go to the page
for just the feed.

As to online help, sire there is... His name is James, and he posts to
the list frequently... ;-)

Oh, and the TiVo Now Playing RSS feed that I linked to earlier must not
be in proper XML format, because it shows up blank.  It works in Feed
Demon, but not in News.

James, I can send you a feed address to test with offlist, as long as
you don't laugh at the large number of Bob the Builder episodes on my
Now Playing list... ;-)

I have it working but only getting 5 headlines for each subject i have
set up?

Are there online docs for Xap news? as there seems little to tell you
what to do... although i must say not to much to learn.. just above i
hope?
