One of the things I'm trying to replicate from XPL is the DuskDawn
applet that sent an XPL message at Dusk and again another at Dawn.  I
was using this within Hal, in conjunction with an X10 motion sensor,
to auto-magically switch on some low-level lights to light the way to
the bathroom during the night.

Somthing like this in Floorplan would seem like a good way of achieving
