The xAPHomevision connector available from www.ascentium.co.uk\xap
also fully supports the X10 core schema.

It's worth mentioning that the xAPHomevision connector additionally
supports control/reporting by BSC of the following:

- Input ports
- Output ports
- Homevision Variables
- Homevision Flags
- Homevision X10 devices

The X10 support in xAPHomevision supports both xAP-X10 and BSC
simultaneously, so if you change the state of an X10 device using the
X10 schema, you also get back a BSC notification saying that the state
has changed.

Why is this useful? It allows you to control other BSC devices (such
as Barionet ports, or C-Bus lights using Homevision as the
controller... and treat them (if you want) as if they were X10 devices!

OK - if you move to C-Bus away from X10 then you'll probably want to
review your xAP installation, but BSC means that you can just "plug
and play" and get going immediately.

Likewise the X10 schema support means that you can replace a CM12 with
a Homevision WITHOUT reconfiguring any of the xAP stuff in the house.
This is what I did - it plugged in, and the house still worked :-)

Regards,

Mark
