Just a not to clarify why there are 2 very similar audio control displays.
The "Slimp3 Remote display and controller" uses the original xAP
audio
schema. The only current bit of software using this is the Slimp3
connector, hence the name.
When people started playing with the Barix, homepods, rios etc the audio
schema developed into something a bit different.
The "Audio Remote Display and Controller" display is for this new
schema
and once the Slimp3 connector updates the old "slimp3 remote display
and
controller" display will be removed.
Now for the confusion, your exstreamers are connected to the slimserver
so they will talk as if they were SLimp3s.  If you were running the
embedded Barix xAP code then they would be talking the new schema so
would use the "Audio Remote.." display
