In the config file is a base UID as a 4 digit hex. The first 254 feeds
are sub address off that address. Next 254 use a base address +1 and so
on. In theory I can extend to any number of feeds within xAP limits, I
just felt 1000 is a good limit!
Each feed has an individual timer for download as well as one for
sending the stories over xAP. Also each feed has individual settings for
sending descriptions and links. As before as separate xAP news.alert
message is sent out when a headline changes.
It's turned out being quite a powerful little app, as well as a
dangerous one. This thing can generate alot of traffic if badly
configured, but you will be pleased to know Viewer is handling it fine
;-)
