Personally I think it better follows the "Human readable" concept
to
keep it but overall not fussed! I know my code will drop a block with no
contents but that's easily fixed.

I'm starting to wonder if there should be a generic xAP locate system.
Where a client app could say

xAP-locate.request

Required
{
1=TTS
2=CallerID
3=OSD
}

and apps supporting any/all of the requested device types respond with a
general message detailing available features that they support.

xAP-locate.response

Supported
{
1=TTS
}
TTS
{
..List of features
}
