slim connector power on/off reporting

Stuart, I've been messing with a desktop template which displays the
on/off=
status of a slimp3 (and allows you to toggle it) and I've noticed that pow=
er on/off status from the connector is sent out quite infrequently.
The class I'm monitoring is slimp3.transport.event

This is the behaviour I'm seeing.
If power is toggled by the IR remote, it's reported by the connector.
If it's by the web interface or by a xAP message, it isn't reported.
If you power up by pressing play on the remote, it isn't reported.

I don't know if this is something limited by what slimserver reports at
the=
CLI, or if it's just something the connector ignores. Anything you can do?=
Nothing urgent.
