Different schema, and it doesn't implement the Meteor extensions my
schema provides for. I think I need a different communications layer
or I'm simply doing something wrong.

Sometimes I only get 14 bytes of a much longer message and I've no
idea why. I was desperately trying to fix this in the last few day
before I lost my ISDN a few months ago. I failed.
